AirHost Launches API Integration with SWITCHBOT Corporation's "SwitchBot Smart Lock"

AirHost has launched an API integration between its property management system "AirHost ONE " and SwitchBot, the smart home brand developed by SWITCHBOT Corporation.

Through this API integration, accommodation operators using "AirHost ONE" — including hotels, ryokans, and vacation rentals — can now automatically issue SwitchBot Smart Lock passcodes linked to reservation data and deliver them to guests automatically.
This reduces the operational workload and human error associated with key handovers and the manual issuing and sharing of passcodes, enabling safer and more efficient contactless check-in and unmanned operations.

"SwitchBot" is an IoT smart home brand available in over 100 countries and regions, built on the vision of a society where anyone can easily and freely create a smart home. It offers a wide range of devices — including smart locks, hubs, and sensors — that can be retrofitted to existing homes and facilities. Through this integration, facilities using "AirHost ONE" can achieve both secure key management, with passcodes valid only for the duration of each guest's stay, and centralized key operations across multiple properties.

• Compatible lock models: SwitchBot Lock / SwitchBot Lock Pro / SwitchBot Lock Ultra
  Passcode functionality requires a separate keypad-type device (such as the SwitchBot Keypad) and a gateway device (such as the SwitchBot Hub 2).
  Use of this integration requires the AirHost subscription "IoT Lock Integration," in addition to a separate contract with SwitchBot.

This integration will first roll out to corporate customers operating 50 or more rooms, with availability for individual customers planned for around autumn 2026.
