Overview
As the first luxury hotel in the Goto archipelago, Hotel Sou was designed by Suppose Design Office led by two Architects Makoto Tanijiri and Ai Yoshida, who are famous all over the world. It was built with the concept of “coexistence and harmony” to make the interior like outdoors.
Similar to “Hidden Christian Sites in Nagasaki and Amakusa Region” that was registered as a World Heritage Location two years ago, Hotel Sou is also a place to invite people to a rich natural journey with deep faith and history that they want to introduce to the whole world.
Challenges
Hotel Sou want to pursue in the direction of creating a more convenient and comfortable space for guests by combining lifestyle and hotel technology trend.
One of their friend introduced AirHost to them. Then AirHost staff contacted them to introduce more about AirHost system and service. The conversation went very well and got them interested.

Results
Currently they use AirHost check-in tablet and Keyvox to make unmanned check-in / check-out which doesn’t need guests and staff meet face-to-face. It is good for preventing the spread of infection with coronavirus. AirHost system helped them create a safe place. Also more and more guests commented that it was so easy to check-in / out.
